action
After 35 years, the former ski racer Charly returns from America to Wildhaus in Toggenburg , where he meets his childhood sweetheart Margrit, the woman he almost married at the time.
Charly is courting her again, but the hotel owner doesn't talk to him well. An Austrian competitor and a hitherto unknown granddaughter make it difficult for the woman hero to recapture the love of his life. Before their reconciliation, Charly and Margrit repeatedly had conflicts, all of which had to do with the still unexplained events 35 years ago: with the question of whether he actually cheated on her shortly before the wedding and whether it was true that the wedding rings are still in the glove compartment of the VW Beetle that fell into a mountain lake on the way to the wedding.
