Ralph Schicha

Ralph Schicha (born October 2, 1950 in Moers am Niederrhein ) is a German actor and voice actor .

Life

Ralph Schicha passed his Abitur in 1969 at the Adolfinum Moers high school. Already during his school days he worked with Holk Freytag , who later became the founding director of the Moerser Schlosstheater . At the age of 23 he got a recording contract with RCA Records . After receiving his doctorate in psychology , he was trained as an actor, first in Munich , then in the USA at Stanford University . He made his first appearances in front of an audience at English-speaking theaters and cabaret stages.

From autumn 2005 to December 2008 Ralph Schicha played the leading role Tobias Becker in the telenovela Paths to Happiness . He appeared on Russian television in 2008 in We Are From Future . In 2011 he took on a continuous leading role in the television series Herzflimmern - Die Klinik am See , in which he was only seen the first ten episodes and then only made a few appearances. Episode 127 was his last appearance.

In 2012 he played in 33 episodes of the ARD telenovela Sturm der Liebe .

In 2013 he was the voice actor for Arnold Schwarzenegger in the film Escape Plan . In 2015 he dubbed Tchéky Karyo in The Missing . In 2018, Schicha dubbed Barry Bostwick in the film The Incredibles 2 .

He is the brother of media scientist Christian Schicha . He lives in Munich.
