Sören Senn

Sören Senn (born November 2, 1969 in Chur ) is a Swiss film director and author .

Life

After studying philosophy, literature and religion in Bern, Berlin and Paris, Sören Senn worked as an author, dramaturge and assistant director for film and theater. Between 1999 and 2005 he studied directing at the HFF Potsdam , where he made several documentaries and short films.

He works as a freelance director and writer for feature film, documentary film and theater in Germany and Switzerland. The documentary film Weg vom Fenster about life after burnout, which premiered at the Solothurn Film Festival , was released in Switzerland in early 2018. His first feature film KussKuss received the Babelsberg Media Prize for the best graduate film and other international awards.
