Rita Engelmann

Rita Engelmann (* 1948 ) is a German actress and voice actress .

life and work

Rita Engelmann completed her acting training at the Max-Reinhardt-Schule für Schauspiel in Berlin and then started her acting career with a seven-year engagement at the Schiller Theater, followed by positions at the Komödie Berlin, the Schaubühne Munich and the Theater am Dom in Cologne.

In addition to her stage work, Rita Engelmann made her debut in the late 1960s as a television actress in The Confession of a Girl . Then she was seen in various films and television series, including the award-winning film Vera Romeyke is not portable or the series Großstadtrevier . Another artistic field of activity since 1969 has been her synchronous work. Rita Engelmann lent her voice to well-known actresses such as Catherine Deneuve , Bette Midler and Helen Mirren .

She is married to the actor Ulli Kinalzik .

Since January 2016, she took on the leading female role of Rose Bailey in the crime series Morgan + Bailey for 6 episodes (until the end of 2017) .
