Winx Club - The Secret of the Lost Kingdom ( Winx Club - Il Segreto del Regno Perduto ) is an Italian animated film directed by Iginio Straffi based on the Winx Club .

action

The story begins on a snowy, foggy day. In the isolated snow peaks, a threatening castle casts dark shadows on the ground.

Six camouflaged figures appear who are nothing more than the Winx Club. Bloom and her friends go in search of Bloom's birth parents, King Oritel and Queen Miriam, with Bloom's belief that they are still alive. The girls are on their way to Hagen, a blacksmith who forged the sword of King Oritel, a magical sword of immense power that can never be separated from its rightful master, in the hope that he will feel the power of the sword and can trace back to Bloom's parents. After an easy victory over his robot guards, the girls successfully sneak into Hagen's castle and meet Hagen, who thinks they are intruders. Faragonda then arrives to relieve Hagen, they are old friends. You return to Alfea to discuss the matter.

Bloom asks Hagen for help to feel the power of the sword, but he admits that unfortunately he can't. The ghosts rushed, Bloom feels guilty for the effort her friends made when it was hopeless all along, and runs out in tears to avoid them in shame and sadness. This is easy because most third year Alfea Fairies become Guardian Fairies after earning their Enchantix powers. Since Bloom's skills are incomplete, she is forced to lag behind while she watches her friends graduate. She comforts herself with her pet rabbit Kiko and a new feline friend named Purr, but Sky comforts her, encourages her to continue her search despite Hagen's words. They share an affectionate moment until a mysterious girl arrives and forces Sky to leave in a rush, despite promising Bloom that he will explain everything later.

The next morning, Bloom leaves Earth to stay with her adoptive parents for the time being. Though she seems happy, Mike can tell Bloom is uncomfortable living on earth. Vanessa agrees that she belongs more in the magical dimension. That night Bloom dreams of Daphne, who tells her that there is still hope; Her parents are still alive and Bloom is her strength. Daphne also informs her about the Book of Fate, a book her father kept that tells the full story of Domino and its location.

In the morning Bloom is surprised to see all of her friends and the boys there to celebrate her 18th birthday. Not only does her spirits lift, Bloom shares her plan and everyone agrees to help her and remind her of their eternal friendship. The restoration of Bloom's hope triggers the sword of King Oritel, deep in the dark obsidian circle, the center of all evil forces. Its glow troubles the spiritual forms of the three primal witches, the culprits behind the destruction of Dominoes. They use Obsidian's keeper Mandragora to eradicate the cause of the reactivation of the sword and paint it out like a candle, which is why they also give Mandragora a fraction of her dark powers.

In the meantime, the team is being led from Bloom to Domino. Borrowing the memory of Domino from Bloom, Daphne remembers that Domino was a paradise before it was covered in ice and snow. The group heads for the mountain where the book is hidden, but Tecna informs them of a mystical bird named Roc, who is said to be guarding the library. The specialists climb the mountain first, but accidentally wake up the Roc, who flies away with the boys. The girls save the boys with Musa's harmonious spells and successfully land the Roc. In the library they meet Bartelby, Oritel's deceased scribe in spiritual form, who shows them the Book of Fate. In it, they discover that Bloom's parents were part of a good warrior group known as the Company of Light, which served to eradicate evil in the form of the three primal witches, and that Oritel, as well as all of the people of Domino, are currently trapped in obsidian. However, the team finds the remaining pages blank after recording the Company of Light's battle with the Ancestral Witches with no indication of the outcome. Bartelby then prophesies a prophecy in which six legendary warriors will save Domino and a king without a crown will free the sword of King Oritel. As the team celebrates this new discovery, Riven is bitten by one of Mandragora's spy bugs and becomes her puppet.

Soon after, Alfea is attacked by Mandragora, who, despite being defeated by Faragonda, Hagen, the teachers and the Winx, learns from Bloom and disappears. She dutifully reports to the primal witches about the second princess of Domino. After Mandragora's defeat, the group begins to look for a path in Obsidian Circle that will lead them to Pixie Village. With Lockette's help, the team goes to the gate to the Obsidian Circle. As the girls enter, Mandragora appears, forcing Riven to fight Sky and retrieve the key to separate the girls and boys. As he is about to stab Sky, Musa jumps in front of him and is injured.

The girls are forced to face their worst fears, and Bloom sees a vision of what happened to their birth parents: Oritel was dragged into the obsidian circle by the primal witches, while Miriam immersed herself in the sword to be with him . To Bloom's horror, her father has turned to stone, as has everyone on her planet. All fairies then wake up from their trances, only to face the primal witches who severely weaken the Winx except for Bloom. They force Bloom to choose between destroying the sword or saving her adoptive parents from Mandragora, as seen in a picture. Fortunately, Bloom sees through the illusion and trusts the boys that they are still fighting Mandragora and unleashes their dragon fire. Outside, Riven remembers everything he and Musa went through together. He resumes his sanity and picks her up and they kiss. When they are after Mandragora, Sky comes a few moments later to help her and takes the sword, but apparently he dies as only a king can wield the sword.

All alone, Bloom is ready to give up when Daphne reminds her that she is not alone. Bloom wears the mask and Daphne joins her to destroy the primal witches. Mandragora returns, however, and the primal witches use their bodies as hosts and want to strangle Bloom to death. Sky awakens and stabs Mandragora and the primal witches with Oritel's sword; and Bloom uses her dragon flame, which destroys Mandragora and Primal Witches (apparently) as well as freeing the entire obsidian circle and each of the petrified ones.

Sky declares that he is now King of Eraklyon, and his coronation was the night he left Bloom in Alfea. With Domino restored to its former glory, Oritel is freed from stone and Miriam is brought back into human form; Blooms Enchantix is complete and she is finally reunited with her birth parents.

A party follows where Oritel and Miriam Bloom promise they will be there for the rest of their lives. Mike and Vanessa are there too and Bloom hugs them lovingly. Oritel begins the traditional father-daughter dance, but then lets Bloom dance with Sky. Bloom accepts him happier than ever and kisses him.

In the final scene before the credits, Bartelby appears in the Book of Fate and tells the audience that the prophecy has been fulfilled, Bloom is now a Guardian Fairy and there's a new Company of Light; - the Winx.

However, the primal witches were not destroyed. Instead, they have been freed with the destruction of the Obsidian Circle and find new hosts to destroy the Winx. They ally themselves with their direct descendants, the Trix.
