Winx Club is an animated series produced by Rainbow SpA and Nickelodeon (both part of Viacom ). The series began in Italy in 2004 . The series comprises 208 episodes in eight seasons, four specials, three movies and two spin-offs. The series was created by illustrator Iginio Straffi, who also produced Huntik and Club 57 .

season 1

The 16-year-old Bloom lives as a seemingly completely normal earth girl - apart from her belief in fairies and magical beings - with her rabbit Kiko with her foster parents Mike and Vanessa in a small town called Gardenia. One day, in Gardenia Park, Bloom meets the beautiful fairy princess Stella while she is in trouble and saves her. In the fight against an ogre, Bloom discovers her magical powers and that she is actually - just like Stella - a fairy. Bloom and Stella become friends. Stella persuades Bloom to accompany her to the magical realm of Magix and to attend the fairy school Alfea, the best school for young fairies, with her. So Bloom follows Stella and registers at the fairy boarding school Alfea - there she is housed in an apartment together with Stella and the fairies Musa, Flora and Tecna. The 5 fairy girls quickly become friends; the flat mates get together and found the "Winx Club". Bloom finds out a lot about herself: she has a sister, Daphne the nymph, and her parents only adopted her. She makes it her business to find her birth parents and to solve the mystery of her ancestors and her sister. She meets the specialist Sky and falls in love with him, but she made this calculation without his fiancée. season 2

The second year in Alfea also has a lot in store for the girls. A new dark enemy has awakened from a deep sleep; the master of the Templars had sent him back into the darkness and let him fall into that sleep. The enemy frees the Trix from Lichtfels. With her help and his shadow monsters, he wants to get the four quadrants of the Codex, which are located in the three schools of Magix and in the Elfendorf. But there are also new allies. In addition to a new fairy named Layla, who the girls discover in the forest, each of them also gets a heart band elf who helps them with their missions - but not only there. Chatta encourages Flora and so she manages to confess her love to Helia. Bloom has a whole new exciting relationship between her and the teacher Professor Avalon. She believes that with his help she can learn more about her origins and about her parents. Since she spends a lot of time with him, there is also tension in her relationship with Prince Sky. Stella's relationship with Brandon is also severely disrupted by a lowland princess who has chosen him as her husband. The Winx have to overcome a strong fear and thereby get their Charmix, with which they have grown Lord Darkar, who can turn into a shadow phoenix. Together with their teachers and the Trix, the Winx must now stand against him.

season 3

The holidays begin and Bloom and Stella spend them in Solaria. But they still have no idea how this will end. Countess Cassandra and her terrible daughter take control of Stella's father and turn Stella into a monster. The sun is no longer shining over Solaria. Meanwhile, in the omega dimension, the Trix fight a life and death struggle. They free the dark magician Valtor and want to use him to acquire all the magic formulas of the magical dimension. Valtor was created by the ancestors themselves and, like Bloom, has dragon fire in it. Through this unique connection with Bloom, he also knows a lot about her past. But that is not only Bloom's concern, because Diaspro has poisoned her Sky. Timmy worries that Tecna is missing in the Omega dimension, and Layla meets the mysterious Ophir (aka Nabu), whom she is supposed to marry. In order to become an accomplished fairy and destroy Valtor, the Winx must get their Enchantix. You can do this by saving a person on your home planet. But that will be a challenge, especially for Bloom, because all Dominos residents are dead.

Winx Club - The Secret of the Lost Kingdom

Bloom is now an Enchantix fairy and the time has come to save her parents. Together with her friends and Prince Sky, she sets off into the dark dimension. She has to face a new enemy once again: Mandragora, she rules over the insects and attacks Alfea with them. They and their giant insects do immense damage to the Alfea School. She also threatens to kill Bloom's adoptive parents. She gets all her strength from the ancestors of witches. These are trapped in the dark dimension and want to use Mandragora to free them. Bloom and Sky face them. Sky uses Oritel's sword and attacks Mandragora with it. Mandragora will be destroyed and the Dark Dimension destroyed. Domino is reborn and blossoming again. Thanks to the brave efforts of Prince Sky and Princess Bloom, Domino's royal couple was saved. Bloom did it. She can finally - after such a long time - embrace her birth parents Marion and Oritel.

Winx Club 3D - The magical adventure

For Bloom, life in the palace has become a bit annoying. The opening ceremony of Alfea's new school year is in full swing when the Trix disturb them. After a fight against the Winx, they disappear again with the compass. They attack the elves and follow their masters. This time they are acting under the command of the three ancestors who were liberated through the destruction of the Dark Dimension. They rob the Winx of all magic and tell the Trix to finally destroy the positive energy. The Winx and the specialists set out together to protect the positive energy. Prince Sky proposes to Bloom, which she accepts, but withdraws because of an incident between his father and Oritel. The Winx take the Trix prisoner, save the positive energy and now finally defeat the ancestors. The three old witches are now destroyed. Oritel forgives Erendor and so Bloom and Sky decide to get married after all.

Season 4

A new year begins again in Alfea and the Winx are now teachers of the fairy school themselves; they teach the young students in their own course "Winxology". This changes quickly, however, because they have a new mission to fulfill: They have to protect Roxy, the last fairy on earth, from the wizards of the Black Circle. For this they move to Mike and Vanessa on earth. In order to survive against the sorcerers, they need Believix powers. They achieve this by convincing Roxy, the last earth fairy, that there are fairies and that she gives the Winx her faith and trust. The Winx open a shop in Gardenia they call Love & Pet; there they sell fairy cuddly toys and bring people closer to magic. Roxy finds her lost faith in the fairies again and now strengthens the Winx as the seventh member of the league. Thanks to Roxy's faith, the Winx can reach the Believix level, which gives them new powers with which they can now take stronger action against the wizards of the Black Circle. The Winx travel to Tir na Nog and free the earth fairies who were held captive there by the sorcerers for years. But the fairies only think of revenge. Season 5

In Andros, King Neptune is attacked by his son Tritannus. The merman is locked up for this. On Earth, the Winx help put out a burning oil rig. But a lot of oil has spilled into the ocean, turning Tritannus into a green, scaly monster. He's mad at his family and turns them all into monsters. With his trident he is very powerful and has made it his goal to bring all oceans under his control and to take the ruling throne. He frees the Trix and gives them new strength. Sky loses his memory in a fight with Icy and his parents bring the evil Diaspro back to Eraklyon. A romance develops between Tritannus and Icy, but her sisters dislike it. Tritannus kidnaps Daphne the nymph and tortures her so that she can tell him how to obtain Sirenix powers. The Winx get their Sirenix powers and can thus enter the Infinite Ozan. After he has absorbed Daphne's Sirenix power - through the destruction of her Sirenix source in Roccaluce Lake - Tritannus gives himself and the Trix the powers of the Dark Sirenix, which allows them to breathe underwater as well. In a confrontation with Selina the strong power of the Legendarium robs them of their powers, but thanks to Bloom and the Bloomix power they can hold their own against the witches. Selina is the Witch of Snakes and an old school friend of Bloom. She was trained by the great fairy mother and now plans to free Acheron, who promised her new powers, from the Legendarium. The Winx travel to earth to the great fairy mother Eldora and are attacked again by monsters and the Trix. At the Tir na Nog school, the Winx and Eldora acquire the Mythix wands. With the power of the Mythix, the Winx travel to the Legendarium and do everything in their power to lock it. Layla now has two admirers, besides Roy, Nex, a paladin, is also very interested in the beautiful fairy. Roxy tries to help Miss Griffin, who has been turned into an old crow by the Trix. Faragonda shows the Winx the Alfea Natural Park. When a mysterious bird chases an animal, Roxy is puzzled. The Winx attack the bird, but it escapes. The bird is Kalshara, a form shifter. She and her brother Brafilius, the magician, are fairy hunters. Kalshara wants to have the ultimate power of the fairy animals and is looking for the corresponding animal. The Winx have time travel stones to search for the animal. Brafilius steals Roxy's stone and hinders the Winx in their mission. The magical universe

The Magical Dimension:

This is a dimension that contains many different planets in which magic exists. The omega dimensions:

The omega dimension is a frozen dimension in which the felons of the magical dimension are held captive. The transition from the magical dimension to the omega dimension is possible.

The Infinite Ocean:

On it stand the three pillars of the Infinite Ocean: the pillar of light, the pillar of balance and the pillar of control. They form the foundation on which the magical dimension stands, they are the basis for all areas of the magical dimension. All oceans of the Magical Dimension are connected to the Ocean of Andros and the Infinite Ocean through underwater portals on Layla's home planet Andros, which is largely covered by water.

Relix:

Relix is ​​the dimension in which the ultimate power of the universe is kept. To open the Relix portal, you need two things: the four parts of the Codex, as well as neutral or opposing magic that neutralizes each other.

The Golden Kingdom:

In the Golden Kingdom, the water stars are kept so that they do not react with the power of the dragon flame, because both forces are too opposite.

Obsidian:

Obsidian, also known as the "Dark Dimension", was once Bloom's home planet Domino. Due to the work of the three ancestral witches and mandragora, which were locked in it, it was frozen and uninhabited for a long time. He was the dimension of ultimate evil and darkness. The Black Gate was the portal to obsidian. Mandragora, the witch of insects, was the guardian of the obsidian circle, the secret entrance to obsidian, and the faithful servant of the primal witches. The events in Winx Club - The Secret of the Lost Kingdom made it possible to save Bloom's home planet Domino.

The Dark Oblivion:

Like the Omega dimension, Dark Oblivion serves as a prison. Tritannus was exiled there. The portal to Dark Oblivion is in the ocean of Andros.

The Legendarium world:

It is the world of legends and is located in the Legendarium, which creates a connection between the real world and the world of legends. The Winx and Eldora could only travel to this dimension with the Mythix wands, which they acquired together in season 6, while the Trix were led into the world of the Legendarium by Selina. Tecna from Zenith:

Prince Sky of Eraklyon:

Sky was born on March 20th and his magic sign is a phoenix. Sky is the Prince of Eraklyon, who, for security reasons, has changed roles and names with his friend Brandon, to whom he is the only one who has confided the secret of his true identity. He attended the Rote Fontäne school to learn sword fighting and how to drive techno vehicles. Prince Sky is with Bloom and even wants to marry her, but Princess Diaspro is against it because she wants Sky herself.

Brandon:

Brandon was born on September 23rd and his magic sign is Nereid. Brandon is Prince Sky's loyal squire. He grew up with him and is a real friend of the prince, who is like a brother to him and for whom he would do anything. Brandon is engaged to Stella, Princess of Solaria.

Helia:

Helia was born on September 2nd and his magic sign is unicorn. Helia, Saladin's nephew, is a specialist and Flora's friend. He loves nature, art and poetry. He is also the kindergarten friend of Crystal, the Princess of Lynphea.

Prince Nabu:

Nabu was born on March 20th and his magic sign is the phoenix. As the child of a royal couple, he was often very lonely and isolated, his only company being the guards. These often showed him a few fighting tricks, which is how his interest in martial arts and magic developed. Nabu was with Layla. He died in season 4 when he locked the portal that was supposed to suck in all the earth fairies. The Winx used the black gift to bring Nabu back to life, but this could not be accomplished because of Ogron.

Riven:

Riven was born on October 15th and his magic sign is elemental. Riven is the most mysterious member of the specialists, because he doesn't like to talk about himself and his private life. He is a real athlete who, with his strong will and great energy, emerges victorious in all sports. Riven was with Musa: They had many difficulties with and in their relationship; so he finally leaves her at the end of the 6th season - on the grounds that he wants to work on his behavior first.

Timmy:

Timmy was born on February 15th and his magic sign is a centaur. Timmy is the group's thinker. He belongs to a family of scientists and researchers famous across Magix for their original and modern inventions. Roy:

Roy is a new specialist on the Red Fountain. It comes from Andros and was sent by Layla's father to help the Winx with their mission.

Thoren is a paladin and the cousin of Sky. He and Daphne are a couple. At the end of the 6th season they get married.

Nex:

Nex is a paladin and Thoren's best friend. He fell in love with Layla and Roy, who also fell in love with her, tries to fight with Nex for Layla.

The enemies of the Winx

The Trix:

The Trix are three witches with different powers. They are the main antagonists of season one, starting out as high school students at the Cloud Tower, where their classmates both adore and fear them. They steal most of Bloom's power until she realizes that her powers have been limited by self-doubt. She gains enough energy to defeat the Trix, and they are locked in the Roccaluce fortress. In the second season, the Trix escape with the help of Darkar. In the fifth season they get The Dark Sirenix from Tritannus. The Trix return as the main villains in season 6, at the end of which they are locked in the Legendarium. In season 7, Brafilius finds the Trix and accidentally releases it. They are taking revenge on Alfea's fairies. The Trix take Brafilius prisoner and travel back to the distant past with the Stone of Memories, followed by the Winx Club. Princess Icy of Dyamond:

Icy is a witch who gets her strength from the ice. Her icy and vicious aura gives her the power to create ice rays and snowstorms. The cold and callous witch often uses her magical powers to dry out souls and to withdraw life from nature. She is very authoritarian and self-confident and therefore the undisputed leader of the Trix. Together with her two sisters she formed the Trix group. She easily succeeds in submitting everyone else to her will. She is only in the cloud tower to increase her personal power. In order to achieve her goal, she must take possession of an ancient and powerful source of energy. She has already allied herself with Darkar, Valtor, the Primal Witches and Tritannus. Darcy:

Stormy:

Stormy is a witch who is able to control lightning and thunder. Its main sources of energy are wind and electricity, which it can shape according to its will. Stormy is proud, easily irritable, and secretly convinced that she is more powerful than Icy. Like her sisters, she was in love with Valtor, which led to an argument among the Trix.

Princess Diaspro of Isis:

She is the princess of Isis. Diaspro is selfish, mean, devious and in love with Sky, and she has been chosen as his bride by Sky's parents. When Sky instead opts for Bloom, whom Diaspro previously insulted and fought against, she seeks revenge, although Bloom had previously saved her from a blackmailer gang on Eraklyon. By a spell from Valtor she seems to get her way, but Bloom breaks the spell and leads Sky back to the truth.

Lord Darkar:

Lord Darkar, the ruler of darkness, has a very terrifying appearance and his nature is not human. It represents an ancient evil entity. It has existed since the creation of the universe and the dawn of time. He wants to be the sole ruler of the magical dimension, which is why he makes the Trix his allies and equips them with strong powers to access the magical codex of the three schools of Magix.

Valtor:

Miss Faragonda:

Faragonda is the director of Alfea and fought against Valtor and the ancestors of the witches in the connection of the light with Saladin and Griffin. She often helps the Winx with her advice or explains how to reach a new level. Faragonda used to be a student at Alfea herself and her greatest dream was to be a director one day. Despite her advanced age, she is not afraid to fight, so she took it on against the army of darkness, Darkar and the supposed Valtor.

Miss Griffin:

Griffin is the director of Schloss Wolkenturm. She expelled the Trix from her school and gave up her enmity with the fairies to seek refuge in Alfea. Like Faragonda and Saladin, she was a member of the Association of Light and fought against Valtor and the Ancestors. Levels of transformation and witch forms

Transformations are different forms that fairies can take to use their magic. Every transformation leads to a change, to new horizons (also to new outfits). There are many levels of magic (or levels of transformation) that a fairy can reach. There are also “stages of transformation” in witches, namely the witch forms.

Transformation stages of the Winx

Magical Winx:

Magical Winx is the first transformation of the Winx. Stella, Flora, Musa and Tecna have mastered them from the start. Bloom gets it in the fight against the Trix in the third episode of the first season. When Layla is added in the second season, she also has this transformation stage.

Charmix:

The Charmix is ​​an extension of the first stage of transformation. In order for a fairy to receive her Charmix, she must conquer her greatest fears.

Enchantix:

Enchantix is ​​the final transformation into a real fairy. You need it at the end of the third year of school to complete your school leaving certificate in Alfea. You can only reach this level by sacrificing yourself for a being from your home planet.

Believix:

The Believix transformation can only be achieved on earth. Believix forces are there to stand by people and give them strength. You need this power to close the Legendarium and to save the magical dimension. After the Winx have locked the Legendarium once and for all, the Mythix power and also the Mythix wands become useless.

Butterflix:

Butterflix is ​​the first stage of transformation of the seventh season. The Winx manage to defeat a giant in the past who would have wiped out an entire species called the mouth digger. After they have proven to nature and all animals that they would defend any fairy animal, they receive the Butterflix power from them. This transformation is based on nature. Witches-Shapes of Trix

Gloomix:

Gloomix is ​​the opposite of Charmix. The Gloomix are magical artifacts that Lord Darkar gives the Trix at the beginning of Season 2. The first Winx Club offshoot was produced between 2008 and 2010.

Pop Pixie includes 52 14-minute episodes. The series aired on Rai 2 , Italy, between January 10, 2011 and March 22, 2011 . The German broadcast took place between June 27, 2011 and April 30, 2012 on Nickelodeon . DVDs for Pop Pixie have also been released.

The series is all about the elves and their everyday life in the town of Pixieville. As with Winx Club, the elves can transform too. The elves must discover their talents in order to earn Magicpops. Magicpops are round balls. They contain the magical powers of the pixie who gets it. These grow on the tree of life.
