Arianne Borbach (born May 30, 1962 in Bernau near Berlin ) is a German voice actress and actress .

life and work

After training as an electrical mechanic, Borbach studied acting at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin . Already during her student days she appeared as a performer on various stages, but above all in East Berlin, where she was a member of the Theater der Freunde until 1992 .

Apart from her work at the theater, Borbach also worked as an actress in film and television productions for DEFA and GDR television from 1984 , including in Liane in 1987 , where she embodied the main character and was honored as the best actress at the GDR National Feature Film Festival has been. In an interview, Arianne Borbach described this as a high point of her career. After the reunification, often in supporting roles in relevant television series such as B.
