Angela Kovács
Angela Anna Margareta Kovács (born May 23, 1964 in Vaksala , Uppland ) is a Swedish actress . Her father is of Hungarian descent, her mother from Sweden.
Kovács studied at the Drama College ( Teaterhögskolan ) in Gothenburg from 1987 to 1990. She then had engagements at the Stadsteater in Gothenburg, the Stadsteater in Helsingborg and the Kungliga Dramatiska Teatern in Stockholm .
She made her film debut in 2001 in the film Hans och hennes by Daniel Lind Lagerlöf . From 2005 to 2007 she played in the crime films about Mankell's Wallander, his colleague Ann-Britt Höglund.
In the film adaptation of the crime novels by the writer Helene Tursten , which were shown on German television in 2009, Kovács embodies the detective inspector Irene Huss . In the Swedish crime series Murder in Midsummer , based on novels by the writer Viveca Sten , she played the role of the mother named Hanna in the third season. She also starred in the crime series Der Kommissar und das Meer, based on the novels by Mari Jungstedt , in episodes 16 In a Dark Night (2014) and 21 Forever Your (2016).
