Irene Huss, Kripo Göteborg is a 12-part Swedish crime film series .

Film series

The production of the first films began in 2007. The series has so far consisted of 12 sequels in two seasons and is based on novels by the Swedish author Helene Tursten about the character she created, Commissioner Irene Huss .

backgrounds

The Swedish actress Angela Kovács , who is also known from the new Wallander films in the ARD series, plays the leading role in the twelve Irene Huss crime novels that have been filmed to date.

The episodes ran between August 2007 and February 2008 as individual films in Sweden. Under the title Irene Huss, Kripo Göteborg , the first screened six films in this series from July 12 to August 15, 2009.

In 2011, a second season with six other sequels was filmed in Sweden. The first two films of this season were first broadcast in Germany by ARD at Easter 2012, two more in May 2012 and the remaining two episodes in December 2012.

In contrast to the books, some characters of the investigative team (Tommy Persson and Hannu Rauhala) were not cast.

Cast and dubbing

The German dubbing was created under the dialogue direction by Horst Geisler, who also wrote the dialogue book, by the dubbing company Interopa Film GmbH in Berlin .
