Martin Asphaug
Martin Asphaug (born April 28, 1950 in Trondheim ) is a Norwegian film director and screenwriter .
Life
Originally at home in industrial , educational and short films , he shot his first feature film in 1990, entitled En håndfull tid . With this film, he applied for the best foreign language film subdivision at the 1990 Academy Awards . However, the Norwegian application for a nomination for the film was not accepted.
He has worked for Swedish television since 1992 and shot individual episodes of the series Rederiet and Skärgårdsdoktorn , after the turn of the millennium, film material by Håkan Nesser and Helene Tursten . He became known in Germany for the 2005 film with the title Kim Novak never bathed in the Sea of Galilee , with Helena af Sandeberg in the female lead. Asphaug currently lives in the Skåne Ystad .
