Economic film
The genus Wirtschaftsfilmtage includes all films whose content and purpose is primarily a business, economic policy or social political. As a rule, they are significantly shorter than feature films and they lack the narrative-entertaining basic intention of feature films, even if they can use narration and entertainment as a means.
Economic film was originally referred to as industrial film because only larger companies could afford to have films produced for their economic interests, and at the time this term was first introduced, large companies were exclusively industrial companies. Nowadays films can be commissioned from all sorts of branches. Examples also include doctor's offices, insurance agencies, beauty salons, etc.
intention
The intention of an economic film production is, among other things, to awaken an understanding of technical or economic processes.
From the thematic perspective, there are various sub- genres of business film such as image film , image documentation and business TV . In the era of visual communication evolved with the use of film a sub-form of economic film into a separate genus. One often comes across the term corporate media .
