Julia Blankenburg

Julia Blankenburg (* 1969 in Berlin ) is a German actress and voice actress .

After training as an actor at the drama school "Der Kreis" and an engagement at the Oldenburg State Theater from 1993 to 1995, she switched to the GRIPS Theater , where she was part of the ensemble until 1999 and played as Lana in Eins on the face , among other things ; this production was awarded the Friedrich-Luft-Preis in 1996.

Since then, Julia Blankenburg has mainly appeared in television films; the film Eine Stadt is Blackmailed , in which she played the role of Maria Rogolla , was awarded the Adolf Grimme Prize in 2008 .

She also worked as a voice actress in anime series such as Dragonball Z and Dragonball Z Kai as Chao-Zu , Digimon Adventure as digiritter Koushiro "Izzy" Izumi or in Detective Conan as the one-time Sanai Sukita . Since 2005 she has performed various supporting roles in the US series Monk , CSI: NY and Dr. House .
