Maria Sumner

Maria Sumner (* 1961 ) is a German actress , singer ( soprano ), radio play and voice actor .

Life

Maria Sumner completed her acting training at the Novalis School in Stuttgart . She has already appeared in a number of plays and has also appeared as an actress in various short films. She made her debut with the movie In the Year of the Dog . Sumner also sings and plays the piano .

She has been working as a voice actress for years and set to music, among others, the nurse Fumio Hoshino in the drama series Die Ewigkeit das Sie haben sich , Miyuki Enomoto in the hit series The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Yuuna Akashi in the harem anime Magister Negi Magi and Negima !? . In 2005, she spoke to Wu Nien in the mecha series Gundam Seed . Sumner has lent her voice to countless American actresses, most recently she dubbed the role of Maria Christina in Pushing Daisies and Maxine Valera in CSI: Miami .

Her daughter Lilly Sumner is also active in the dubbing industry.
