Emiri Kato
Emiri Katō ( Japanese 加藤 英美 里 , Katō Emiri ; born November 26, 1983 in Fussa ) is a Japanese voice actress ( seiyū ) and singer .
Life
Emiri Katō did her training as a voice actress at the Amusement Media Sōgō Gakuin, which she graduated in 2004; then she was signed by the 81 Produce agency.
She made her dubbing debut in the same year with a small role in Kyō kara Maō! and later that year even the leading role in the children's anime series Nepos Napos . Her breakthrough came in 2006/2007 with the role of Momoko Akatsutsumi / Hyper Blossom in Demashita! Powerpuff Girls Z or the Kagami Hiiragi in Lucky Star . For this she was honored at the 2nd Seiyū Awards 2008 next to Yū Kobayashi as the best young speaker. In addition, she was together with Aya Hirano , Kaori Fukuhara and Aya Endō for the opening title Motteke! Sailor Fuku of the anime Lucky Star named Best Singer. In 2012 she was named Best Speaker in a Supporting Role at the 6th Seiyū Awards.
In 2008 she also began a music career when she released her first studio album vivid on Pony Canyon .
