Demashita! Powerpuff Girls Z ( Jap. 出ましたっパワパフガールズZ! , Demashita Pawapafu Gāruzu Z! ) Is an anime - TV series of the studio Toei Animation in 2006. It is based on the US series Powerpuff Girls on Cartoon Network and was used as Manga and video game adapted.

action

To stop a catastrophe, Professor Utonium and his son Ken invent chemical Z, a new form of chemical X. They want to destroy a huge glacier, but instead several black and white lights appear in the sky. These transform the three girls Momoko, Miyako and Kaoru into the "Powerpuff Girls". From then on, the three girls protect Tokyo from people and animals that are made evil by the mysterious black light.

Characters

The main characters are the 13-year-old Powerpuff Girls who, unlike the original, come from different families and are not siblings.

  • Momoko Akatsutsumi / Hyper Blossom ( 赤 堤 も も こ )

Momoko is the leader of the Powerpuff Girls. She transforms with the words "Hyper Blossom" and fights with a yo-yo . She loves sweets, hates vegetables, and is afraid of dentists. She also has a younger sister named Kuriko. Your sign is a heart. Momoko is the first of the three who had to fight a "fight" because the monkey Mojo Jojo freed the animals of the zoo, which ate Momoko's sweets. So she found out first that she had received super powers. Her greatest wish to become a super heroine came true.

  • Miyako Gōtokuji / Rolling Bubbles ( 豪 徳 寺 み や こ )

The second member of the Powerpuff Girls transforms with the words "Rolling Bubbles", her weapon is soap bubbles. Miyako is nice and polite, but can also easily be provoked. She always has her favorite doll Octi with her. Your sign are soap bubbles. She noticed relatively late that she had received superpowers (only when Momoko had explained it to her for the third time) and first used her bubble wand as a throwing weapon, because she didn't really know what to do with these powers.

  • Kaoru Matsubara / Powered Buttercup ( 松原 か お る )

She is the third of the Powerpuff Girls and hates girly things, but likes martial arts and is good at soccer. Her weapon is a Daruma Otoshi hammer and her mark is stars. Because of her aversion to girly things, she wasn't enthusiastic about teaming up with Momoko and Miyako at first, but eventually got into a fight with them. She made her first real heroic appearance when Mojo Jojo breaks out of the laboratory and then breaks the floor from under his feet with her hammer out of anger that she wears a skirt.

  • Professor Utonium and Ken Kitazawa ( ユ ー ト ニ ウ ム 博士 , 北 沢 ケ ン )

Professor Utonium has an eight year old son named Ken Kitazawa. Since Ken's mother works on a space station and is never there, he is usually treated lovingly by his father. Ken helps the girls and sees them as older sisters.

  • Peach

Ken's robot dog Peach, like the Powerpuff Girls, was hit by white light. This made him more intelligent, able to speak and understand cats. Peach is the trigger for you to transform the Powerpuff Girls by calling out "Powerpuff Girls we need you" (Eng. "Powerpuff Girls we needs you").

  • Mayor Mayer

The mayor of Tokyo loves sweets, his younger brother is the headmaster of Momoko, Miyako and Kaoru. He tries again and again to get the girls to leave the city intact during their rescue operations, which unfortunately has little success. His colleague Miss Bellum does most of his work for him, her face is always covered.

  • Mojo yo-yo

Mojo Jojo was just a normal monkey in the zoo until he was hit by the black lights. He is the first opponent of the Powerpuff Girls who appears most often, in the first four episodes only he appears as the villain.
