Horst Schöttler

Horst Schöttler (* May 7, 1874 in Leipzig ; † May 15, 1942 there ) was a German entrepreneur and writer .

Life

Horst Schöttler was the son of a factory owner. He received his school education at the General German Educational Institute in Keilhau near Rudolstadt . From 1889 he completed an apprenticeship as a businessman , after which he continued his education in the Netherlands , Switzerland , Great Britain , France and Spain . In 1895 he took over his father's company. Schöttler worked as an entrepreneur for 15 years; in addition, he began to publish literary works in magazines. In 1910 he gave up his activity as a manufacturer and lived as a freelance writer in Gardone Riviera on Lake Garda .

Horst Schöttler was the author of novels , short stories and columnist works.
