life and career

Born in 1968 in Truckee , in eastern California in Nevada County , Stewart grew up in her hometown and began her acting career at the age of four. However, other sources suggest that Stewart didn't find his way into acting until he was twelve. Stewart, who comes from a family established primarily in the entertainment industry (her father Freddie Stewart was an actor and singer in the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra , among others ), attended Tahoe Truckee High School , where she graduated in 1987. During her school days, she was introduced to acting by one of her teachers at the time. She was a member of the Truckee Actor's Guild at a young age and was also involved in various musical and theater performances at her school. Through her teacher she came to Ashland in the US state of Oregon , the site of the annual Oregon Shakespeare Festival , where she decided. serious about getting into acting. Through her continued pursuit, she eventually came to the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts , which is part of Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria , California.

After completing a two-year apprenticeship there, she came to Los Angeles at the behest of a friend , where she turned her back on drama in frustration and was brought to the dubbing in film and television by her personal friend Gray DeLisle . After receiving an agent, she was booked for her first dubbing, a commercial for Lexus , just a month later , although she didn't even know at the time that it was her first engagement as a (dubbing) speaker. But this shouldn't be the only time Stewart has gotten into such a position. Something similar happened when she visited South Park Studios , where she was initially only supposed to take on the dubbing roles of Eliza Schneider , who took over all female voices in the animated television series South Park after the suicide of Mary Kay Bergman in 1999, for only two weeks . Two weeks after her audition, she received a message from the producers or directors of the series, whereby Stewart did not have to step in for Schneider for the two weeks mentioned, but was brought into the cast of the series as a permanent member. There she took over from the eighth season all the voices that were previously spoken by Schneider. So far (as of the end of 2010) she has dubbed 66 episodes and took over the voices of the characters Wendy Testaburger , Mayor McDaniels , Liane Cartman (Cartman's mother), Mrs. McCormick (Kenny's mother), Rector Victoria , Sharon Marsh (Stan's mother ), Shelly Marsh (Stan's sister), as well as the voice of numerous other characters.

In addition to numerous appearances in various internationally known computer and video games, Stewart also lent her voice to a character in American Dad in 2005 . She can also be heard in the series The Creepy Adventures of Billy and Mandy (2006; 1 episode), El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera (2007; 4 episodes) and Wolverine and the X-Men (2009; 2 episodes) . She also dubbed the (short) films Endurance Challenge: Mordred's Isle Episode 2 (2007) and Kung Fu Magoo (2010), as well as in the award-winning South Park trilogy Fantasieland (2008). So far, Stewart has had two well-known television / film productions in which she can be seen as an actress. These are an episode of The Game as well as the drama Megan Is Missing , which premiered in US theaters in May 2011. In April 2008, at the age of 40, she became a mother for the first time.
