The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy ( Engl. The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy ) is an animated series from 2001.
content
The two children Billy and Mandy defeat the Grim Reaper in a limbo competition. From now on he has to stand by them as their best friend based on an agreement. They often get into unusual situations.
main characters
- Reaper
The grim reaper , often also called scythe, doesn't really need a more detailed description. Since he's been Billy and Mandy's "best friend", he often has to help them and sometimes even serve them. Often the two get on his nerves extremely, he would much rather go back to his old job.
- Billy
Billy is a boy with an oversized nose. He is friendly but not too smart (his IQ is 5). He thinks it's great that Sense is his friend as he can learn new tricks. Billy is also very scared of clowns .
- Mandy
Mandy is in the truest sense of the word a sour pot and disgust. She is always concerned with her own advantage and doesn't seem to know anything like compassion or friendship. Most of the time she is in a bad mood and rarely laughs. Even her parents are afraid of her and let her get away with just about anything. The only thing even Mandy fears is a freaking Billy.
- Harold
Harold is Billy's father and the one he got his nose off of. Harold is quite overweight and only slightly smarter than his son. Basically he is very tolerant of his son; he only forbids him to put on his lucky pants. Harold's profession is unknown.
- Gladys
Gladys is Billy's mother and Harold's wife. She is very caring and patient. However, she is very suspicious of Sense and often urges him not to harm her son. She also often doubts that Mandy is a good company for Billy.
- Irwin
Irwin is an Afro-American friend of Billy's and also in love with Mandy. Unfortunately, his efforts are not exactly crowned with success.
- Dracula
The legendary vampire count appeared in many forms; this is the first time he's doing it as an African-American. Supposedly he's Irwin's grandfather. He's an old friend of the Grim Reaper and also the announcer of the mini-series Billy's birthday.
- Sperg
Sperg is the typical school yard rowdy who handles the weaker ones. He has a heart-shaped tattoo that says "MOM" on it. The only thing he's scared of is Mandy.
