Veronika Neugebauer
Veronika Aryana Neugebauer (* 27. November 1968 in München ; † 11. October 2009 ibid ) was a German voice actor and actress .
Live and act
Neugebauer was born in Munich as the daughter of the voice actor Hartmut Neugebauer . She lived in Munich until her death. At the age of five she was an actress in front of the camera and began to work as a voice actress for various children's series. She later trained as an actor in New York, Paris and London, among others. She was best known for the role of the animal-loving blonde Gaby Glockner in the children's and youth radio play series TKKG by Europa Verlag. Together with Sascha Draeger ( Tim ), Niki Nowotny ( Karl ) and Manou Lubowski ( Klößchen ) she spoke, with a short break in episodes 44 to 52, from 1981 to her death in 158 episodes of the series. Her last episode The Girl with the Crystal Ball (166) was published posthumously five days after her death. Rhea Harder-Vennewald took over her speaking role as Gaby Glockner from episode 167 . In the radio play series Paul Pepper she spoke Arnica Ewald in twelve episodes . She also dubbed several roles in various anime series . This included the role of Makoto Kino or Sailor Jupiter in Sailor Moon , from season 4 to 11 Ash Ketchum , the main character from Pokémon , as well as two supporting characters in Inuyasha , as well as Naga, the white snake in the movie prequels for Slayers . She also dubbed Chiba Atsuko in the 2006 anime film Paprika .
She stood in front of the camera in three Tatort episodes and in the series Die Sitte . In the cinema she was seen in Comedian Harmonists . As a voice actress she had a leading role as Heather in the Blair Witch Project and gave the voice of Neve Campbell several times , for example in the first three parts of Scream . In the film Mr. Deeds she spoke the German voice of Winona Ryder , in several films (including seafood ) that of Valeria Bruni Tedeschi . In 2003 she was awarded the German Dubbing Prize for her outstanding female dubbing work as the voice of Eileen Walsh in The Merciless Sisters .
After Caroline Combrinck left in 2001, she took on the role of Ash Ketchum in the anime series Pokémon , in which she was heard in more than 400 episodes until 2009.
Neugebauer died of colon cancer on October 11, 2009 at the age of 40 in Munich . After the funeral service in Munich's north cemetery , there was a burial at sea , there is no grave .
