Fake Fiance (AKA: My Fake Fiancé ) is an American comedy film from the year 2009 with Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence in the lead roles. The television film premiered on April 19, 2009 on the ABC Family cable channel .

Jennifer gets her moving truck and belongings stolen while moving into her new house, which she spent all her money on. Vince is a womanizer and a player that a loan shark owes, the "Monkey" is known as money. Both met before at a wedding that they discovered they didn't like each other very much. At a later meeting they both decide to get married and then divorce. The purpose of the marriage is to solve the problems with the gifts by giving Jennifer all material gifts and Vice all monetary gifts. As the film progresses, the two of them get closer and closer and at the end of the film they do not (only) say yes for economic reasons, but out of love.

When it was first broadcast on April 19, 2009, Die Schein-Hochzeit reached 3.7 million viewers, making it the most successful film for ABC Family in the 2008/09 season.
In Germany the film appeared in the cinema. It was released on February 10, 2010.
