Diane Neal
Diane Neal (born November 17, 1976 in Alexandria , Virginia ) is an American actress .
Life
Neal's family moved to Colorado after her father, Chris Neal, got a job as a state attorney in Denver. Her mother Colleen works as a teacher for mathematics . Diane Neal grew up with two older sisters, Leigh and Erin. Her oldest sister also became an actress . Diane Neal began studying medicine after graduating from high school . But when her modeling career, intended as a side income, demanded more and more appointments with the onset of success, Neal broke off her studies. Later she studied archeology in Israel and Egypt and finished this course with a degree. She became known for her role as Casey Novak in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit . In the third season of the same television series, she had played the rapist Amelia Chase in the episode Ridicule .
In the meantime, Neal also took part in numerous ice skating competitions. She was married to former Irish model and engineer Marcus FitzGerald since July 9, 2005 . The couple split in 2013 and have been divorced since 2014.
