Annie Belle

Annie Belle (actually Annie Brilland ; born December 10, 1956 in Paris ) is a French actress . Her acting career began in 1974, during the 1970s and 1980s she starred in various French and Italian films. She worked with directors such as Jean Rollin , Ruggero Deodato and Joe D'Amato .

Life

Belle played her first small role in Jean Rollins' film Tout le monde il en a deux in 1974 at the age of seventeen . Soon after, she went to Italy and for a short time became one of the most sought-after actresses on the Italian exploitation film scene. Three of the most important films were: Laura with Emmanuelle Arsan , Annie Belle - Born to love (she also worked as a writer here) and Velluto nero with Laura Gemser . The latter was one of her most controversial films. Personal problems hampered Belle's acting career in the 1980s, and in 1989 she played her last role in Luna di sangue .

Private life

Belle was in a relationship with actor Al Cliver between 1975 and 1978 and starred with him in several films.
