The Fascist Italy mid-1930s: writer Elio De Silvestri returns after one year of use in the Abyssinian war safe and sound to his estate in Livorno back. He makes his bisexual wife Alessandra satisfied with unusual gifts from the black continent . When the insensitive commander presented his queen of hearts, however, with his “personal booty”, a dark-skinned princess that was presented to him as a gift, she reacted bitterly. Subsequently, she begins to be interested in the young Abyssinian named Zerbal, who is completely devoted to her master despite her lack of language skills.
At a different time, the domineering Alessandra entered into a lesbian love affair with Wirma, Elio's 23-year-old secretary. With the return of Elios, the jealous Wirma goes through a difficult time of suffering. From then on she has to share her secret lover again. In addition, the stranger, a potential rival, triggers relationship fears in Wirma. This inevitably leads to disputes that later turn into open hostility.
When Elio Zerbals, who is struggling with liquidity problems, gets tired of him, he transfers his claim to power to his hypersexual wife. Alessandra becomes the new mistress, the Abyssinian her preferred lover. The spurned Wirma withdraws self-pityingly, Alessandra's affection is not certain.
In the meantime, Elio is writing down his memories of the Abyssinian War in order to be able to service debts with the outstanding publication. Driven by financial difficulties, he also decides to start producing profitable amateur porn films - with the three ladies of the house as actors. Despite all concerns, the unmotivated strip goes into production. During the shoot, however, terrible suffering is inflicted on the virginal Wirma. Contrary to the original scenario, she is mistreated and brutally raped by the De Silvestris' loyal servant . The emotionless Elio banishes the shameful hustle and bustle on celluloid .
When the abuse victim returns to the scene the next morning with a stolen roll of film, she discovers something extremely strange. Zerbal is about to take revenge for the loss of their freedom by manipulating the De Silvestris. Beauty reverses the relationship of dependency and becomes the new mistress of Elio and Alessandra. Wirma freezes. In the end she kindles a fire by chance, which spreads to Zerbal and burns her in agony. In the last scene of the film, the shocked Wirma takes the hand of the also present Furios, Elio's son from his first marriage.
