Scandalous Emanuelle - The desire to watch (Original: Voglia di guardare ) is an Italian erotic film from 1986 directed by Joe D'Amato . Contrary to the misleading German film title, the film is neither a straggler of the genre classic Emmanuelle (director: Just Jaeckin , 1974) nor D'Amato's own Black Emanuelle series, but an independent work.

Christina is unhappily married. She longs for sensual pleasures, tenderness and sexual excitement, which she receives inadequately from her husband Diego, a renowned surgeon. Although he goes about his marital duties, he has secret voyeuristic preferences.
One day Christina gets to know the handsome Andrea Belsiani, an alleged ex-patient of her husband. The young woman immediately succumbs to the charm of the stranger and falls in love with the bon vivant, who reciprocates her feelings. When he seduces her, it finally comes to an affair . As a result, Christina tries to keep her immoral behavior a secret. However, Diego is already informed about their activities, as he had previously made a business agreement with Andrea. In it, the doctor obliges his contractual partner to lead Christina into sexual dependence in order to offer her to complete strangers. Diego's plan works. Christina is led by Andrea into a house of bliss, where she gives herself to wealthy customers - secretly observed by Diego, who follows the bizarre happening through a one-way mirror .
Little by little, Christina takes a liking to her work as an immoral lady of love. Andrea encourages this strange tendency by leading her to the establishment almost every day. This relationship soon leads to jealousy among the brothel owner Francesca, who is in a relationship with Andrea. The business woman fears for her partner and lover. Therefore, she decides to stop that scandalous liaison. She informs her rival Christiana about the goings-on in her house. The person concerned is initially insecure, but continues her excessive sex life. Christina is having a hard time choosing a man. She also likes the idea of being watched by her husband during sexual intercourse. At the end of the film, she breaks away from Andrea. She chooses her husband Diego.
