action

Texas in 2020: After bitter wars and natural disasters, the earth is devastated, depopulated and chaos; Morality and law no longer exist. Marauding gangs terrorize the last gatherings of peace-loving people that often arise around churches. Only a small group of volunteers - the Rangers - defend themselves against the injustice.

When one day degenerate villains attack a monastery , in which the pretty Maida is also seeking refuge, five rangers intervene in the action. The battle-hardened men quickly manage to repel the attackers and restore order. During the mission, however, a boisterous rescuer named Catch Dog falls out of favor when he tries to rape the disturbed Maida . The culprit is eventually cast out by his comrades. Ranger Nexus later takes on the blonde beauty and separates from the friends.

Five years later, Nexus and Maida live with their young daughter in the seemingly safe settlement of Free Town , the germ of a new civilization. In addition to the basic supply, the community operates a power plant and a uranium mine here . With its energy reserves, the town soon awakens the desires of sinister outlaws. One day the disaster takes its course when the defected Catch Dog succeeds in bringing Free Town down with his gang. Catch Dog himself acts on behalf of the "Black Satan", a totalitarian ruler who subsequently subjugates the population with his thugs. The resisting nexus dies. A martyrdom of the vanquished begins. The able-bodied men are enslaved and used to extract uranium, the women are sold to nearby bars.

At some point the three remaining rangers meet the long-suffering Maida and free her from the hands of a gambler. The trio then takes action against exploitation and oppression. Before doing this, you secure the services of an indigenous tribe, as you face an overwhelming number of enemies. Ultimately, the rangers and the summoned warriors succeed in conquering Free Towns . The regime of terror is overthrown; both Catch Dog and Black Satan are killed. In the middle of the fighting, a ranger also succumbs to his injuries. In the end, Maida and her daughter look to a happier future while the two remaining rangers move away.

criticism

Ronald M. Hahn / Volker Jansen analyzed that "the numerous Mad Max plagiarisms are a continuation of the spaghetti westerns with futuristic means, but like this one suffer from inadequate originality, incompetent scriptwriters and incompetent actors."
