action
In 21st century Tokyo, the gap between rich and poor has widened significantly after an economic crisis. While many live in poverty, Tokyo is secretly controlled by the Tennozu group. The swamp of gambling, prostitution and violence in the red light district of Roppongi seems like a black hole that pulls everything into itself. The former war photographer Tatsumi Saiga now works as a paparazzo and ends up doing research in a secret club in Roppongi. A so-called goddess , Kagura Tennozu, is worshiped there. when he photographs her, however, he is exposed and is said to be killed. But Kagura gives him the euphoria power through a kiss , which gives everyone special abilities. Tatsumi can now kill people through his lens.
When Kagura now asks him to free her from the club, he agrees. But soon she is caught again by the Tennozu and with another attempt at liberation Tatsumi finally turns the group into an enemy and now has to fight other people with euphoric powers.
Characters
- Tatsumi Saiga
- He is 33 and has previously worked as a war photographer. His goal is to free Kagura from the clutches of Suitengu and his henchmen.
- Kagura Tennozu
- Kagura is also known under the synonym "Goddess", 15 years old and the daughter of the head of the Tennozu group, Shinsen Tennozu. She is a rather reserved personality and has a deep affection for saiga.
- Chōji Suitengu
- Suitengu is about the same age as Saiga and head of the secret club, which gives him an enormous position of power. He is also Shinsen Tennozu's secretary and lover. Suitengu's original goal was to take control of the capitalist economy in Japan through the takeover of the Tennozu Group, in order to ultimately damage it. His aversion to capitalism can easily be seen from the fact that he only smokes money.
- Hibari Ginza
- Ginza is a detective with a strange gun fetish. Her actions are strongly shaped by her jealousy of Kagura. She tries to smash the secret club through her "investigations" and mostly uses rather unorthodox methods.
- Shinsen Tennozu
- Shinsen is the head of the Tennozu Empire. Although Kagura is her daughter, Shinsen treats her extremely viciously, which is partly explained by her envy of her daughter's beauty.
