Niki Nowotny

Niki Nowotny (bourgeois Nikolai A. Behr , born September 30, 1967 in Munich ) is a German radio play speaker and former child actor . He became known for his role as speaker of the character Karl Vierstein in the radio play series TKKG .

Life

Nowotny studied political science at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich from 1990 to 1993 (graduation as Dipl. Sc. Pol. Univ. ). From 1998 to 2001 he did his doctorate at the Free University of Berlin and graduated as Dr. rer. pole. in environmental policy ; his dissertation is entitled The Development of the Rhine Protection Regime with special consideration of the Sandoz accident of November 1, 1986 . He completed postgraduate studies at the Technical University of Munich, Columbia University New York and the University of Southern California (USC) Los Angeles with an MBA . He also attended the “Certified Private Equity Analyst - CPEA” certificate program at the Technical University of Munich.

His mother, Chris Nowotny, was a well respected and successful photographer, best known for her black and white portraits of actors.

Television production

Nowotny has worked as a television journalist since 1990, initially for various television stations (including Bayerischer Rundfunk and ARD ), and later as a marketing manager. From 2001 to 2007 he was "Head of International Corporate TV " at the BMW Group .

Since 2003 he has been chairman of the CTVA Corporate TV Association eV

In 2007 he founded his own production company "brain script", which produces corporate and advertising films. He also offers communication training.

Radio plays and drama

From 1981 to 2016 Nowotny spoke the role of Karl Vierstein in 197 episodes of the successful TKKG series by radio play publisher Europe . In 2015, he also spoke the role in the eighth episode of the Ferienbande , a parody of well-known youth radio play series .

Due to a fee complaint, Nowotny did not extend his contracts in 2016, whereupon the label finally kicked him out and replaced his role with Tobias Diakow . Due to the legal dispute, the episodes 195–197 had to be taken off the market because he had not signed any contracts for these episodes. The episodes were republished in the same year. Nowotny can no longer be heard in this new edition. Diakow recorded his texts from scratch.

As a child, he appeared in various episodes of the children's series Kli-Kla-Klawitterbus . He later played the role of Daniel in Wolfgang Staudte 's last movie Zwischengleis alongside Mel Ferrer and Pola Kinski . As a voice actor , he worked for Die Peanuts and Die kleine Trolche, among others . This was later followed by smaller roles in Dominik Graf's television and cinema film Hit and in several episodes of the television series Aktenzeichen XY ... unsolved .
