Bello Bond

Secret dog Bello Bond was a children's book series by Thomas Brezina , which he had dedicated to his dog (Daffi). Between 1996 and 1998 a total of 10 books were published by C. Bertelsmann Verlag and one book as a special case. At the same time, eight radio play cassettes were published by BMG -Ariola-Austria at the same time as the books . The series is currently not being continued, but licensed prints and translations into Spanish and Portuguese have appeared .

Brief description

In the books, the three children Lux, Bastian and Lina investigate with the help of a white Westi who knows many tricks and who can find a way out even in difficult situations. The adventures are told from a first-person perspective by one of the children . Lina, Bastian and Lux ​​live in a boarding school where animals are forbidden, so they have to hide their dog. The books mostly contained a simple gimmick or something to do with things. The book unites the genres "adventure book", "youth thriller" and "animal book". Often the children investigated environmental offenders or in cases where animals are badly treated. The books are suitable for younger children as first reading after the so-called " first reading books " and appeal to both girls and boys.
