The Aero A-200 was a sport aircraft made by the Czechoslovak manufacturer Aero in the 1930s.
development
It was developed in 1934 specifically for participation in the 1934 European Tour ( French Challenge de Tourisme International ), a flight competition organized by the FAI and leading through several countries. Two prototypes were built and registered with the marks OK-AMA and OK-AMB .
The fuselage and the wings of the low- wing aircraft were made of wood with a fabric covering and were connected to one another by additional tension wires. The rigid landing gear had streamlined fairings, and there was a grinding spur at the rear.
The competition was quite disappointing for the designers . The two pilots Ambruš and Žáček only finished 4th and 14th, but came first in the group in the national ranking.
