The Aero A.23 was built in 1925 as an eight-seater double - decker . The Czech company Aero allowed initial positive experiences and developments from military aircraft construction to flow into the design.

Arrangement of the open cockpit behind the passenger cabin

The construction of the machine was conventionally made of wood. The wings, the stern and the tail unit were covered with fabric. In the fuselage of the machine there was a cabin for six passengers, a toilet and a luggage compartment. The captain and co-pilot (or another, seventh passenger) sat in an open cockpit above the luggage compartment. As a drive at the company served Walter produced under license Bristol-Jupiter - radial engine .

commitment

The ČSA sat on the routes Prague-1926 seven machines Marienbad and Prague- Uzhorod one. The last machines were taken out of service in the late 1930s.
