Megan Cavanagh (born November 8, 1960 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American actress and voice actress .

Life

Megan Cavanagh was born in the metropolis of Chicago in 1960 . She first worked as a theater actress. From 1984 she was a member of the professional theater group New Age Vaudeville for three years . She gained international fame with her film debut as Marla Hooch in the 1992 comedy A Class of Its Own with Tom Hanks , Geena Davis and Madonna in the lead roles. She played the same role in a TV miniseries of the same name the following year. She also appeared in two Mel Brooks films, including Robin Hood - Heroes in Tights .

Cavanagh's television roles included appearances in, for example, Listen to Who's Hammering or Emergency Room . As a voice actress, she voiced Judy Neutron in the Jimmy Neutron films.

Megan Cavanagh has a lesbian relationship with film instructor Anne Chamberlain in Palo Alto, California . She has a son.
