Tara Strong
Tara Lyn Charendoff-Strong (* 12. February 1973 in Toronto , Ontario as Tara Lyn Charendoff ) is a Canadian voice actor and actress .
Life
Strong grew up in Toronto as the daughter of Jewish parents. She has an older sister. At the age of four, Strong took part in school productions, and soon also at the Yiddish theater , including the Toronto Jewish Theater. Because she didn't speak Yiddish, she had to memorize her text phonetically. At the age of thirteen she was accepted at an acting school, through which she also got her first professional acting role with the role of Gracie in the musical The Music Man . In the following years she worked in various theater performances and gained roles in the series T. and T. and Mosquito Lake . She worked for The Second City for two years before moving to Los Angeles in 1994, where she lived for a while with Neve Campbell , with whom she had already attended high school.
As a voice actress, she has and had leading roles in the trick series Cosmo and Wanda - When Elves Help , Powerpuff Girls , Ben 10 , Teen Titans , Fillmore! and My Little Pony - friendship is magic . She has also acted in the American versions of some Japanese anime and real-life films, such as Sailor Moon , Spirited Away and Black Mask . She also has a say in numerous video games, many of them Marvel and DC .
As an actress, she has appeared in Sabrina Bewitched in Rome , Sabrina Bewitched Australia and The Kids from Room 402, among others.
She has been married to actor Craig Strong since 2000 . They have two sons together and live in Toluca Lake , California . Together with her husband, Strong founded VoiceStarz, Inc. to help them get started with dubbing.
