action

The computer developer Roger Dearley moves with his wife Anita, the housekeeper Nanny and their 101 Dalmatians from the big city to a farm in the country. Cruella de Vil lives in her direct neighborhood with her ferret Scorch in an old villa. Cruella is the head of the fashion company Anita works for and tries to land the Dearlys' court. Their machinations are mostly carried out by their henchmen Horace and Jasper.

The three little Dalmatians Lucky, Goliath and Rolly are among the 101 dogs on the farm. They make friends with the other animals, especially the young chicken, Spot. The four experience different adventures on and around the farm and thwart Cruella's plans in the process.

characters

Lucky is an adventurous dog who loves to cause a stir. He always comes up with a plan to go on an adventure with his friends, and like his friends, he adores the television super dog Thunderbolt. Lucky likes to mimic the leader and has a high level of self-confidence.

Spot is a chicken that wishes to be a dog. She is very pessimistic and paranoid. She likes to see herself as the voice of reason, but without admitting to herself that she often just overreacts.

Goliath is a smart dog girl. She has exceptionally alternative attitudes to life and has a profound saying on every situation. Goliath is highly emotional, and once angry she is no longer to be trifled with. She has a very good sense of hearing, is well-read and eloquent, and often only drives off potential opponents through her ability to analyze and uncover their mistakes. Since she is the smallest of the group, she is not expected to have great physical strength. However, these develop when she gets into a rage.

Rolly is a fat dog who is passionate about eating. Because of this, he forgets everything around him. When it comes to eating, Rolly has a slightly selfish streak, and otherwise he is easily seduced. He reacts very indignantly to allusions to his weight and has an excellent nose for dog food.

While the film and its subsequent sequel are set in England in the early 1960s, the series' plot has been moved to contemporary America. The Dearlys don't live near London , but near the fictional city of Topstown . Cruella is not Anita's boss in the films, but just a former school friend who doesn't have to work due to an inheritance of millions. Her addiction to fur and the fact that she would like to make fur coats out of the puppies is never or only mentioned casually in the series.
