Kerstin Sanders-Dornseif (born June 17, 1943 in Schwerin ) is a German voice actress and theater actress .

Life

Kerstin Sanders-Dornseif played in several TV productions in the GDR, such as Blaulicht , Polizeiruf 110 and Unser Mann ist König . In 1983 she spoke the role of Xenia in the DEFA film Olle Henry for Anikó Sáfár. In the mid-1980s, she and her daughter moved from the GDR to the Federal Republic, where she played in the musicals Cabaret and My Fair Lady . She is the German standard voice of Susan Sarandon , Barbara Hershey and Dianne Wiest as well as Glenn Close several times . Also, Claudia Cardinale , Faye Dunaway , Lily Tomlin and Catherine Deneuve she lent her voice. In 1977 she also had a guest appearance in the television series Polizeiruf 110 . From 1991 to 1994 she spoke the character Fran Sinclair in The Dinos .

Since 2010 she has been the German voice of Evelyn Harper in the comedy series Two and a Half Men , after the original spokeswoman Astrid Bless passed away in 2009. In the seventh season of the US hit series Desperate Housewives , she is the German voice of Maxine Rosen , played by Lainie Kazan . Since 2009 she has spoken for cheerleader coach Sue Sylvester (played by Jane Lynch) in the US series Glee . In the Playstation 2 game Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2 , she lent her voice to the evil witch Malefiz ; also the commander Meredith in Dragon Age 2 .

Kerstin Sanders-Dornseif is the daughter of the actor Peter Dornseif (1907–1972).
