Kate Capshaw
Kate Capshaw (* 3. November 1953 in Fort Worth , Texas as Kathleen Sue Nail ) is an American actress .
Life
She first worked as a model and special education teacher before being discovered by television and film at the age of almost 30. Their most important appearance was in 1984 with her the female lead in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom , the second part of Indiana Jones - tetralogy of director Steven Spielberg . Negative reviews for her portrayal hurt Kate Capshaw's further career. In the period that followed, she usually only took on minor roles - with the exception of the main role in the action thriller Death Greetings from Havana (1987) - and concentrated on her family life.
Kate Capshaw has been married to Steven Spielberg since 1991 and has three birth children and two adopted children with him. Her daughter Jessica Capshaw (* 1976), who is also an actress, comes from her first marriage to Marketing Director Robert Capshaw .
