action

Flynn Carsen finds that his work as a librarian collecting historical artifacts around the world means that he has almost no time for his private life. So his superior Judson sends him on vacation.

When a woman from New Orleans appears to Flynn in his sleep that night , he decides to spend his well-deserved vacation there. Arriving in New Orleans, he meets Simone, the woman from his dream, who recognizes him immediately and knows about his work as a librarian. She tells him that she called him in a dream and that she needs his help. The coffin of the legendary Vlad III. Drăculea ( Dracula ) was stolen by a group of former KGB agents. The agents are on the lookout for the Judas Goblet in order to awaken Dracula again. This chalice consists of the 30 pieces of silver given to Judas Iscariot for betraying Jesus Christ .

Flynn falls in love with Simone, who turns out to be a vampire . Together they find the Judas Chalice and, with the support of KGB agents, destroy Dracula. Since it was he who made Simone a vampire, her soul is now free. She watches one last sunrise with Carsen and dies. Carsen then brings the goblet to the library.

criticism

"Fantasy adventure in ' Indiana Jones ' style, which mixes a wide variety of motifs and motivations into a wild action mix."

"Quite entertaining, but the story is gaga"
