David Connell

David Connell (* in Melbourne , Victoria ) is an Australian cameraman .

Life

After David Connell received his first Super 8 camera from his father as a 12-year-old , his interest in film began, so that he started working as a camera assistant for a news channel at the age of 17 and his first with The Solomons after only two years Did camera work on a television show. Before he was responsible for the camera in a feature film for the Australian director George Trumbull Miller with the adventure film Der Flieger , he worked on The Eiger for MGM in Yugoslavia . Since Connell worked mainly for television films such as Moby Dick , Cleopatra and Lady Musketeer - All for One , he was the chief cinematographer of the television series Leverage from 2008 to 2012 .

In 1985 he received a CableACE Award . The Australian Cinematographers Society awarded him the Award of Distinction in 1999 and 2006.
