action

The action takes place in 1928. The pilot Edgar Anscombe survived an airplane disaster in which a person was killed. He is traumatized afterwards and lives from flying small planes that carry mail. Rose Stiller is interested in him, but doesn't get any closer to him.

One day Anscombe takes Tillie Hansen, the daughter of an entrepreneur, with her. He argues with the woman. The plane crashes; Anscombe and Hansen survive. At first they wait for help at the aircraft, but after a while they are attacked by wolves there. The survivors try to reach human settlements and come closer in the process. Hansen, suffering an injury, is carried by the pilot. Anscombe arrives at a hut where a railroad worker lives, but who refuses to give any assistance.

Anscombe is attacked by a wolf that Hansen shoots. Shortly afterwards, one of Anscombe's colleagues finds the stranded and brings them back to the base in his plane. Anscombe promises Hansen to visit her in the hospital.

Reviews

Derek Smith wrote in the Apollo Movie Guide that viewers were wondering if they had seen the film before. The formula seems familiar and predictable. One of the biggest problems is that the writers could not choose between a romantic film and an action film. The script was sketchy, but the lead actors' play was "surprisingly good".

The magazine TV Spielfilm 8/2008 described the film as "lame".

“Aviation adventure with a love story on the side, which essentially revolves around the topics of responsibility and professional ethics. Leisurely staged entertainment with some successful landscape and animal shots. "
