Marc Norman

Marc Norman (born February 10, 1941 in Los Angeles , California , USA ) is an American screenwriter and film producer .

Filmmaking

Norman won in 1998 both in the category Best Film as well as in the Department Best Original Screenplay the Oscar for Shakespeare in Love (collaboration with Tom Stoppard ).

He was also able to claim a Golden Globe , a BAFTA Award , a Silver Bear , a WGA Award and other international film awards. (see: Entry in the IMDB ).

Before his success at Shakespeare in Love , he wrote scripts for the television series Kobra, took over you and the largely unknown action films The Man Without Nerves (1975) with Charles Bronson in the lead role and The Aviator (1985) in which Christopher Reeve participated.

Norman has been privately married since 1967 and has two children with his wife, Dale.
