Catherine Jacob
Catherine Jacob (born December 16, 1956 in Paris ) is a French actress .
Life
Catherine Jacob studied drama at the École nationale supérieure des arts et techniques du théâtre . She played theater and made her debut as a film actress in the television miniseries Dickie-roi, directed by Guy-André Lefranc . As Eliane, she made her screen debut in 1985 with Juliette Binoche and Marie-France Pisier in Annick Lanoë's comedy Les nanas . Jacob has been nominated four times for the French César film award. For her portrayal of Marie-Thérèse in Étienne Chatiliez's comedy, she was awarded the César award in 1989 as the best young actress . She received three other nominations for her portrayals in Aunt Daniele (1990), Thanks to Life (1991) and Nine Months (1994).
