Characterizations

Mordillat juxtaposes different styles of upbringing, all of which fail, alienate children from their parents, and drive them into criminal gangs. The frustrated housewife makes no secret of her hatred of her gosses , she is the literal dragon, devoid of all feelings, a source of pure, boundless terror. The children, including the grown-ups, live in constant fear of their parents. The 13-year-old son is once beaten half to death by his father with the belt - he had secretly left the house at night. The mother here lives out her sadism orgiastically, the desperate screams of her child feed in her perverse joy. The main victim, however, is the youngest, barely out of toddler age, who, because of his age, is still unable to adapt to his mother's whims. In this cold environment he gets sicker and sicker, the psychological pressure has a physical effect until he finally dies.

The exact opposite is the mother of two other of the children. Raised in the generation of 68, she cultivates a completely anti-authoritarian style of upbringing, which allows and forgives everything, can explain everything with psychology and completely lacks real human interest, concern and responsibility. Without guidance, the children have to learn to integrate into the social structure, which they cannot succeed and which can slide into the criminal.

The relationship between a very rich woman and her significantly younger, but no longer young gigolo, remains childless.
