Franck de La Personne ( César 2011 )

Franck de Lapersonne (born October 29, 1963 ) is a French actor .

Life

Franck de La Personne is the son of Jacques de La Personne and Jacqueline Charlotte Poinson. He studied drama at the Cours Raymond Girard in 1982 and from 1983 to 1986 at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique . While still a student, he played theater and was seen in films such as Ghost Meetings at Midnight ( Chant de Noe l) 1984 and Danger in Delay (Péril en la demeure) 1984 on the screen.

In the 2017 presidential election in France , he supported Marine Le Pen , the candidate of the Front National party . After the 2017 elections, his relations with the party leadership deteriorated following an internal conflict. He joined Florian Philippot's newly founded Les Patriotes party after he left the Front National. In an interview with Figaro, he described his support for the FN as the "biggest mistake of his life". The short-term engagement with Marine Le Pen, however, had an impact on his artistic career: In 2017, the film director Fabrice Eboué cut him from his film Coexister and replaced him with another actor where his appearance was planned.
