reception
A continuation of the family chronicle , the film Mayrig - The Road to Paradise (original title: 588 rue paradis ), was made in 1992.
criticism
“The epic is most likely to impress with its stirring memories of a dark chapter in contemporary history; the family history suffers from schematic character drawings and overly nostalgic coloring. "
