Henri Lanoë (born September 16, 1929 in Algeria ) is an Algerian - French film editor , film director , screenwriter and composer .

Life

Henri Lanoë was responsible for a film editing for the first time in 1961 with The Stranger Face . Since then he has edited over 50 productions and has long-term collaborations with directors such as Jacques Deray and Philippe de Broca . He edited Der Profi 2 and Brutale Schatten for Deray and received a César nomination for Best Film Editing for Murder in Barcelona and Murderous Angel . For de Broca, on the other hand, he edited films such as I Was a Male Sex Bomb and The Bush Pilot, and for Edouard, the Heartbreaker and Duel der Degen each received a César nomination for best editing. Henri Lanoë is the most frequently nominated film editor in France for a Cesár without distinction. Between 1977 and 1998 he received eight nominations.

In the 1960s, Lanoë worked not only as an editor, but also as a director, screenwriter and composer.
