Robert Stadlober
Robert Stadlober (born August 3, 1982 in Friesach , Carinthia ) is an Austrian actor , voice actor , musician and singer .
Live and act
Robert Stadlober was born in Friesach and grew up with his sister Anja Stadlober, first in Puchfeld near Scheifling in Styria , and later in Berlin. He began working as a voice actor at the age of eleven, and then played in various television productions and movies. Stadlober first learned to play the violin as a musical instrument, and at the age of 13 he switched to the guitar. He left school when he was 15.
He had his first major film role as a Rolling Stones fan and record lover Wuschel in 1999 in the Ostalgie comedy Sonnenallee . With the presentation of the 16-year-old, half-sided spastic paralyzed boarder Benjamin Lebert in Crazy (2000) was his final breakthrough as an actor. In 2001 he received the Bavarian Film Prize for young talent for his performance in this film . In 2000 he moved to Hamburg-St. Pauli . In the same year he and three friends founded the band Gary (also called Garyband ), in which Rasmus Engler and Johanna Laute also participated in 2011 . In Engel und Joe (2001) he played a punk who lives unconditional love at the side of Jana Pallaske .
Stadlober played two roles at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg in 2003 and 2004 , both of which were praised in the press. In the film Sommersturm (2004) he portrayed the young rower Tobi, who falls in love with his best friend Achim ( Kostja Ullmann ) without his feelings being reciprocated.
With the film Black Sheep he returned to Berlin in 2006. He played the title role in Uwe Janson's film adaptation of Peer Gynt . He turned down the lead role in a film adaptation of Falco's life in 2007 because he was unable to emotionally grasp a 40-year life.
Stadlober has lived in Berlin again since 2008 . But he is also in front of the camera in Vienna. In 2010 he embodied the assistant Alfred Schrammel in the movie Kottan determined: Rien ne va plus , directed by Peter Patzak . Along with Bernhard core, he runs the Independent - Label Siluh Records and is a member of the band Escorial Gruen . Stadlober sings there, plays guitar, harmonica and trumpet.
Since 2010 Robert Stadlober has been active again with the band Gary, which released the single Will You and the LP One Last Hurray For The Lost Beards Of Pompeji in the same year .
The social drama Tender Parasites was presented in Venice as early as 2009 . After being presented at numerous film festivals, it was shown nationwide in selected German cinemas from the beginning of September 2010. In the first part of the trilogy , Tom Schilling played the lead role in first person shooter .
Stadlober caused a controversy in 2011 when he said in an interview with Radio Bremen: "As long as there are no asylum seekers' homes on fire in Hoyerswerda, I have no problems with burning Mercedessen." He believes that "they all have good insurance". The then Prime Minister of Lower Saxony, David McAllister , sharply criticized Stadlober. In an interview with the magazine Straßen aus Zucker , Stadlober said: “Well, the fact that we are so dirty is obviously due to capitalism. Unfortunately, the revolution is not just around the corner either. "
He is married and has a daughter.
