reception

Franco Schedl found on film.at that Peter Payer's Fian film adaptation offered an interesting mix of styles with playful actors, which was fun and contained everything from romance to horror. Viewers should be prepared for a number of unpredictable twists and turns. Because what begins as a relatively harmless banter by a bored husband develops more and more into a crime thriller and psychological thriller that even has horror elements. The narrative tone would remain mostly comedic. Another strength of the story would be that amazing repetitions and reflective effects occur over and over again, which could cast doubt on the reality of what has happened.
