Veronika Hlawatsch (* 1971 in Vienna ) is an Austrian sound designer who lives in Vienna. Occasionally she also worked as a film editor .

life and work

Veronika Hlawatsch studied architecture and - at the Vienna Film Academy - editing. Since 2000 she has worked as a film editor from time to time, but primarily as a sound designer for numerous film and television productions. She completed her training at the Film Academy in 2006.

Hlawatsch has been a member of the Academy of Austrian Films and the European Film Academy since 2011 . The Wiener FrauenFilmTage 2013 dedicated a personal to her. Since 2014 she has been chairwoman of the Association of Austrian Sound Designers .
