Markus Kienzl (born March 16, 1973 in Mödling ) is an Austrian musician from Vienna .

Life

In addition to his main activity as a producer and musician with Sofa Surfers , Kienzl released his debut EP "TILT" in 1999 on the Viennese label Klein Records. In 2001 his debut album Sincerely yours DJ was released. In addition to various remixes and a. For the project "Tosca" Markus Kienzl cooperated with Richard Dorfmeister in 2001 and produced a remix for " Cutty Ranks " under the title "The Stopper (Richard Dorfmeister Meets Markus Kienzl Vocal). In 2015 Drake used a sample of this track in his song "Energy" and Kienzl became the "Grammy Nominee 2016".
