content
Camp Lazlo is the Camp Kidney scout camp . All persons represent animals. Here one looks at the everyday life of the boy scouts with funny details. The accommodation are huts; z. B .: Lazlo lives with his friends Raj and Clam in the jelly bean hut (all boys are beans). The three of them have a hard time having a lot of fun under the direction of the strict Fähnleinführer Lumpus and his assistant Schleichmann.
Acorn Flats is the home of the Girl Scouts from Camp Hazelnut (sometimes Camp Erdnuss) across from Sabber Lake . The most frequently shown girl scouts are Gretchen, Nina and Betty.
Characters from Camp Lazlo
- Lazlo is a fun loving and slightly crazy Brazilian spider monkey . But the rules at Camp Kidney make it pretty difficult for him, but he tries everything to have fun with Raj and Clam.
- Raj is an Indian elephant who avoids clutter, water, bugs and snakes. He collects records, has 2 belly buttons and an Indian accent.
- Clam is a yellow “albino” dwarf rhinoceros and a musical genius, but cannot speak correct sentences and often repeats words from the other Boy Scouts. He can imitate Edward very well and walk on ceilings and walls.
- Edward T. platypus (orig. Platypus) is a platypus hates that Lazlo and tries to spoil any fun for him and his friends. He loves his doll "Veronika". In addition, in the episode Hello Doll, it becomes known that his mother's name is Susanne.
- Skip & Chip are pretty stupid dung beetle twins who live in a cabin with Edward. They're mostly the only ones helping Edward with his plans against Lazlo.
- Samson J. Clogmeyer is a hypochondriac guinea pig who suffers from allergies. He doesn't like to be dirty. Otherwise, he'll immediately run into the shower.
- Dave & Ping-Pong are loons twins with long necks. They live with Samson in a hut and are the editors of the camp newspaper “Die Bohne-Woche” (later “Die Bohne!”).
- Betty Schmunzler (orig. Patsy Smiles) is an (almost) always happy mongoose who is madly in love with Lazlo. In the episode Snake Hunter, she confesses her love to Lazlo.
- Gretchen is an aggressive and always hungry alligator who usually doesn't know how to smile.
- Almuth (orig. Almondine) is a calm, shy, female owl who always stands by Miss Hirschkuh and follows all her orders to the word.
- Fähnleinführer Adalbert B. (orig. Algonquin C.) Lumpus is an often annoyed elk and would rather travel the world than be in Camp Kidney. He is also in love, namely with Fähnleinführerin Hanna Hirschkuh.
- Schleichmann (orig. Slinkman) is a banana snail and Lumpus' assistant. He knows the Camp Kidney rulebook by heart and always points out discrepancies to Lumpus. In his youth he was a stunt man named Super Snail. Lumpus prevented him from jumping over the dead man's ditch.
- Fähnleinführerin Hanna Hirschkuh (orig. Jane Doe) used to be Miss Fru Fru herself and wants to lead her girl scouts on the way to glamor.
- Mrs. Rubella Mucki (orig. Miss Mucus) is a warthog who hates all bean boy scouts and lumpus. She wakes the girl scouts in the morning and initiates the day (with military commands).
- Commander Huha (orig. Hoo-ha) is an easily irritable bison and Fähnleinführer Lumpus' boss who regularly comes to Camp Kidney to examine it. His clothes are similar to those of a high-ranking American drill argeant (especially the hat). However, it is not beige, but green. He is also the father of Betty Schmunzler.
