Marco Kröger (born August 14, 1963 in Berlin ) is a German actor and voice actor .

Life

Kröger is the son of the dancer Renate Bärbel Kröger (1937–2002). Among other things, he had various roles in the television series Großstadtrevier and appeared several times in A Case for TKKG ; his filmography also recorded numerous other television appearances. Kröger has also been seen in movies. In 1979, for example, he played Mick in the soft sex film The Schoolgirls from Treffpunkt Zoo . Marco Kröger also works as a voice actor for numerous real and cartoon series. In King of Queens he took over the dubbing of Supervisor O'Boyle.

He lent Patrick Star his voice in Spongebob SquarePants . On May 29, 2011 it was announced that he had been dismissed from MTV as a voice actor because he had demanded compensation from the broadcaster based on the amount of money earned by the series. Since then, the station has been looking for a replacement, on November 16, 2011 the name of the successor, Fritz Rott , was published by SpongePedia. In 2017 he was allowed to give his voice again in the series (episode 214 season 10); There he didn't speak Patrick Star but an Ice King, who is also a starfish and has a very identical character to Patrick Star (still spoken by Fritz Rott).
